"The home of homestyle"

UPDATED: Random.org pulled out number 34. Congrats to Tracey, the winner of the Bob Evans gift card.

My in-laws took me took my very first Bob Evans years ago. Since then I have been purchasing their breakfast sausage links and it's a taste that my children will grow up knowing. Try and give my kids a generic breakfast sausage and they'll complain that it doesn't taste like Bob Evans moms.

"The home of homestyle" Bob Evans. Yum. My in-laws still occasionally treat us to breakfast and in this day and age I can log onto their website.

I can figure out the nutritional value of my food before dinning, which I love now that I am actively working out each morning and hate empty calories. Their kid's menu, check it out, everything that a child would eat is listed in a chart before you broken down with nutritional values and ingredients. The website even has a free recipe section that includes 20 recipes for under 2 bucks. I've made stuffed peppers before but never Inside Out Stuffed Peppers for under 2 bucks. My kids are loving the kid's page where they all signed up for the birthday club and even printed out some fun games.

I have no problem promoting something that I really like. And I like me some Bob Evans breakfast sausage. Heh.

Here's your chance to try it out. I have one FIFTY DOLLAR gift certificate to feed your family some homestyle yumminess. I'm sure you'll love. One comment/entry per person. Unless.... you Tweet about the giveaway for your second entry. Are you my FaceBook friend... add me or let me know you already are for another entry. In total you have three entries to win. Good luck friends!!!

oh i love Bob Evans, which makes me think I may just be a little blue haired old lady! We're planning a little family get-a-way/staycation for later this summer to Bob Evan's Ohio-based Farm in Rio Grande... they have a huge festival...Kinda Cheesy...but in a good way!
On a side note, at our Kroger, there is a guy named Bob Evans...and they always say his name over the speaker...and I laugh out loud... very loudly!

Mmmmmm...blueberry pancakes.

Do we get a third entry if we're good enough friends to stop by and see the renovation? Or how about an invite to see it? Sounds exciting! I need to live vicariously!

I usually lothe chain restaurants abd prefer to eat at independents, but BE is an exception since it's an OH based company and we're an OH based family (and sometimes you just need a kid-friendly, cheap meal)

My kids have been on a Bob Evans kick all week. Is there an ad somewhere on TV that is encouraging it? I have no idea where it is coming from. I am sure we will end up at Bob Evans in the next couple of weeks. It is all they are talking about. We haven't eaten there since the fall. Who knows!?

My daughter can PLOW through a side dish of steamed brocoli. So odd but true. My son loves he can get mashed potatoes instead of french fries with his grille cheese....I love that they have 20 sides on the kids menu!

I think I am your facebook friend :)

We love Bob Evans so much that my daughter refers to it as THE restaurant. Apparently there are no others.

A gift certificate would be a great help for us! Thanks for the contest!

So I went to Bob Evans last night for dinner at granny's invitation. I deserve to win the gift certificate so I can take "someone else" to dinner with me that won't yell at the cashier because "someone" still owed 23 cents after using two gift cards. That same person kept insisting to the cashier that they wanted thir card back even though it was empty! As I ushered her out, I leaned back and whispered how sorry I was to the cashier.
